Overview
Biofix dates are used to calculate pest-specific degree day models in Hub. You can view, add, edit, or delete biofix dates for individual pests such as navel orangeworm or codling moth. Changes made to biofix dates will automatically update the associated pest model data displayed in Hub.
Before You Begin
Select your property in Hub.
From the Layers menu, open the Pests dropdown and select the pest you want to manage.
Open the Tables page.
Locate the relevant pest degree days section (for example, Codling Moth Degree Days or Navel Orangeworm Degree Days). In that section, click on Settings then Manage Biofix.
Edit an Existing Biofix Date
Use this option when you need to correct or update an existing biofix date.
Steps
From the Manage Biofix window, select Edit.
Beside each block, select the biofix dates that need to be updated .
Use the calendar control to choose the new biofix date.
Select Change Selected Dates.
The updated biofix date will be applied to all selected blocks.
Example
A biofix date of March 1, 2025 is changed to March 5, 2025 for four selected blocks.
Add a New Biofix Date
You can maintain multiple biofix dates for the same pest if needed.
Steps
From the Manage Biofix window,select Add New.
Select the blocks that should receive the new biofix date.
Use the dropdown option to quickly select all blocks if required.
Use the calendar control to choose the desired date.
Select Add Biofix Date.
The new biofix date will appear alongside any existing biofix dates.
Example
A new biofix date of January 1, 2025 is added while retaining an existing biofix date of March 5, 2025.
Verify Changes in Degree Day Data
After adding or editing a biofix date:
Return to the Summary page.
Review the pest model data.
Confirm that the updated biofix dates appear as expected.
You may see multiple biofix dates listed if more than one date exists for the pest.
Delete a Biofix Date
Delete a biofix date when it is no longer needed.
Steps
From the Manage Biofix window, select Delete.
Beside each block, choose the biofix date(s) you want to remove.
Select Delete Selected Dates.
The selected biofix date will be removed from all selected blocks.
Example
The biofix date January 1, 2025 is removed while other biofix dates remain unchanged.
Manage Biofix Dates for Different Pests
Each pest model has its own biofix settings.
For example:
Codling moth can have one set of biofix dates.
Navel orangeworm can have a different set of biofix dates.
To manage another pest:
From the Layers menu, under the Pests dropdown, ensure the pest you want to manage is currently selected.
Return to the Tables page.
Locate the relevant pest degree days section.
Select Settings, then Manage Biofix for that specific pest.
Add, edit, or delete dates as needed.

Can I have multiple biofix dates for the same pest?
Yes. Hub supports multiple biofix dates for a pest, allowing you to track separate biofix events over time.
Will updating a biofix date affect all blocks?
Only the blocks selected during the update will be affected.
How do I confirm my changes were saved?
Return to the Summary page and review the pest model data. The updated biofix dates should be displayed in the model results.
Can different pests have different biofix dates?
Yes. Biofix dates are managed independently for each pest model.
