The bee hours model determines whether environmental conditions are conducive to bee flight. To view bee hours, go to the Main Menu > Layers > Crop Development and select Bee Hours.
The following conditions need to be met for bee activity:
Ambient temperatures above 55°F / 12.8°C
Wind less than 15 miles per hour / 6.7 meters per second
No precipitation
During daylight hours
One bee hour means the conditions are met for an entire hour.
